Everything you need to know is at hap.org. By logging in, members can:
- Search for a doctor
- Access, print and order ID cards
- View health reminders, benefits and Explanation of Benefits
- Send and receive secure messages with customer service
They can also use our myHAP card to access and share the HAP ID card of everyone on their plan.
As an employer, you'll also be able to easily view documents, invoices and manage enrollment/ eligibility.
Telehealth services
Getting health care online has never been easier. Telehealth lets members see doctors 24/7 from a computer, tablet or smartphone. HAP Telehealth, powered by Amwell®, provides access to licensed and board-certified doctors who are available to treat non-emergent illnesses, such as colds, flu, headache, rashes, infections and pink eye.
Health Care Cost Estimator
The key to cost-effective care is knowing what health care costs. HAP’s Health Care Cost Estimator is a virtual tool that estimates out-of-pocket payment information for office visits, hospital stays, X-rays, MRIs, surgeries, vaccines and more. Employees can reduce their out-of-pocket costs by comparing and choosing the best option for their treatment needs.
Assist America emergency travel assistance
HAP is here, even when you’re far from home. If you're traveling 100 miles or more away from home or in another country (for no more than 90 days in a row), Assist America will arrange and pay for all services it provides including medical help, hospital admission support, emergency medical evacuation and more.
Identity theft protection
Assist America also gives you identity theft protection. At no cost to you, this service offers tools to protect your name and credit history, like credit and debit card surveillance and 24/7 identity fraud support services.
Employee well-being programs
Through HAP, at no charge, you'll have a dedicated well-being and health promotion consultant that will provide your employees a well-being program that focuses on making small behavior changes that will stick. Learn more about our employee well-being programs.
HAP Member Discounts
To make staying healthy more affordable, HAP offers savings on health and wellness-related activities and services for our members. We’ve partnered with local businesses (many that also call Michigan home) to provide HAP Member Discounts on the following services: fitness, nutrition, wellness and therapeutic services.
The HAP Member Discounts app sends mobile alerts when members are near an eligible discount.
We've made it easier for employer groups to manage their account
Employer portal access
Employer groups have the capability to manage their businesses' group health plan in real-time. Your HAP representative will provide you with your log in information. Log in at www.hap.org and use your employer group ID and password.
