DETROIT, Mich. – The thousands of health care providers who use Health Alliance Plan’s online provider portal were introduced to a new portal look when they logged in during the week of July 30.
“Based on feedback we received from our provider partners, we identified opportunities to improve their experience while working with us online,” said Deborah Spencer, HAP associate vice president, provider services. “Several HAP teams collaborated to develop a secure web portal that is easier to navigate and more intuitive. We received great feedback from providers who tested the new site before it was rolled out to our entire provider partner population.”
The redesigned portal offers providers easy navigation to information about HAP claims, benefit administration, member eligibility and more.
“HAP and our provider partners are committed to ensuring that HAP members receive the quality health care they need,” said Spencer. “The new portal experience is a good example of that commitment.”
