Feel right at home with HAP
For nearly 40 years, we've been making Medicare as convenient as we can. When you have a question, when you have a problem, when you just need advice - we're here for you. Because as a Michigan-based company, we're not just near you... we know you. Every day, we're collaborating with doctors, hospitals and the community. And as one of the leading integrated health plans in the region, we're constantly finding new ways to coordinate your care and cut your costs.
HAP has Medicare Advantage coverage for retirees through your employer
With Original Medicare, many hospital and medical expenses are covered. However, under a HAP employer-sponsored Medicare Advantage plan or an Employer Group Waiver Plan (EGWP), you have more comprehensive healthcare coverage, often with additional benefits beyond what traditional Medicare covers. The specific benefits will depend on how the employer enhances the plan.
Contact your human resources or benefits manager for more information about your HAP employer-sponsored Medicare Advantage plan.
After enrolling in one of our plans offered through your employer, you can choose from thousands of doctors, in addition to Michigan's leading hospital systems, including:
