Henry Ford Choice members have access to world-class health care close to home, with lower monthly premiums, from Henry Ford Health.
How does Henry Ford Choice work?
The Henry Ford Choice network includes more than 5,000 providers and facilities that are part of Henry Ford Health.
Healthcare will be coordinated through a primary care physician (PCP) from the network.
Our find a doctor tool is available to help find a PCP or specialist. Before any appointment, members should use this tool to verify network coverage. Some facilities include doctors that aren't part of the Henry Ford Choice network.
Which facilities are included in network?
This network includes Henry Ford Health locations such as:
- Henry Ford Hospital
- Henry Ford Kingswood Hospital (behavioral health)
- Henry Ford Macomb Hospital - Clinton Township
- Henry Ford West Bloomfield Hospital
- Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital
It also includes medical centers, lab service centers, pharmacies, rehabilitation facilities, walk-in clinics and urgent care centers.
Henry Ford Allegiance is not affiliated nor included as a participating provider under the Henry Ford Choice network.
What if an employee needs emergency or urgent care?
All HAP health plans, including Henry Ford Choice plans, cover any emergency care at hospitals worldwide. Once you are stabilized, you will be transferred to a Henry Ford hospital if necessary. If you have a medical situation that isn’t life-threatening, you can get help fast at a Henry Ford Choice network walk-in clinic or urgent care centers.
