How does Genesys Choice work?
Employees will have access to over 4,000 providers and facilities as part of the Genesys Physician Hospital Organization and facilities associated with Ascension Genesys Hospital.
Healthcare is coordinated through a primary care physician (PCP) from the Genesys Physician Hospital Organization.
Our find a doctor tool is available to help find a PCP or specialist. Before any appointment, members should use this tool to verify network coverage. Some facilities include doctors that aren’t part of the Genesys Choice network.
Which Genesys facilities are included in network?
Some facilities in the Genesys Choice network include:
- Ascension Genesys After Hours Clinics (Clio and Grand Blanc)
- Ascension Genesys Hospital (Grand Blanc)
- Ascension Genesys Urgent Care Centers (Flint)
What if an employee needs emergency or urgent care?
In case of emergencies, all HAP members are covered to visit hospitals anywhere in the world. If a member is admitted to an out-of-network hospital, they may be transferred to an in-network hospital once stabilized.
