HAP Thanks Local Teachers and School Staff Across Southeast Michigan

TROY, Mich. — For the third year in a row, Health Alliance Plan (HAP) is marking Teacher Appreciation Week by visiting public schools across Southeast Michigan. Throughout the week, HAP team members are delivering more than 2,500 cookies to teachers and school staff to show appreciation for their work. 

“Teachers and school staff are foundational to our communities,” said Chris Moyer, HAP senior vice president of markets. “We want them to know their work matters and that HAP is a trusted partner, supporting them not just today, but throughout their careers and into retirement.” 

That support continues beyond this annual celebration. HAP maintains its long-standing commitment to Michigan’s public school community through its partnership with the Michigan Public School Employees’ Retirement System, administered by the Office of Retirement Services.
