HAP and Sunny Benefits launch Flex+ Rewards for HAP Medicare Advantage members, a partnership that offers savings through Costco
TROY, Mich. – HAP (Health Alliance Plan) announced a partnership with Costco, becoming the first health plan in Michigan to establish such an agreement.
In collaboration with Sunny Benefits, HAP is integrating its Medicare Advantage over-the-counter supplemental Flex Card benefit and Healthy Living Rewards program into a unified, streamlined experience. The partnership enhances member convenience and delivers value by offering savings through Costco as part of a reimagined benefits experience.
Through the partnership, HAP Medicare Advantage members who are also Costco members will be able to make the most of their Flex+ Rewards Visa® prepaid card by using it at Costco warehouses to purchase eligible over-the-counter items such as vitamins, pain relievers, bandages, sunscreen and blood pressure monitors. Depending on their plan benefits, some members may also be able to use their Flex+ Rewards Visa® prepaid card to buy healthy groceries and fuel their vehicles at Costco locations.

The new Flex+ Rewards Visa® prepaid card can also be used at a variety of other retailers. It combines both the supplemental Flex Card and Healthy Living Rewards program into one card.
