Quality program goals and objectives
Quality goals
Our quality program aims to assure that all of our members have access to clinical care and services that are safe, effective, patient-centered, timely, efficient and equitable.
Our goal is to demonstrate value and improve quality through reducing the overuse, underuse and misuse of services. We are continuously improving clinical care and safety in general medical and behavioral health by focusing on the following goals:
- Improving the health of our members and identifying and reducing disparities
- Identifying organizational opportunities for improvement
- Implementing interventions to improve safety, quality, availability, accessibility and member satisfaction
- Promoting disease prevention and condition management through healthy behaviors and active self-management
- Measuring, assessing and coordinating evidence-based clinical quality, practitioner availability and accessibility, member and practitioner satisfaction
- Supporting the continued development of proactive practitioner practices
Each year, we conduct an extensive analysis to identify trends, make informed choices about healthcare and see our ongoing commitment to improved performance.
