Learn about the standards we enforce to ensure you get quality care

In our work with providers, HAP has quality standards for facility and medical records as well as site visits. The standards apply to all of our primary care physician, specialists and behavioral health providers.

Compliance with these standards is a contractual requirement. We’ve also made performance against these standards a part of our credentialing process.

We update the standards frequently and incorporate requirements from the National Committee for Quality Assurance, or NCQA, and the Department of Insurance and Financial Services.
