HAP in the community
Keep them warm. Keep them well.
At the bus stop. At the playground. On the long walk to school. Wherever they're headed, no child should suffer from cold feet during a long Michigan winter.
HAP's Boots For Kids distributes thousands of brand new boots to children in need. Businesses, area nonprofits, and community organizations join forces with HAP to make sure that no child goes without warm feet each winter.
But we can't do it without help from you. Your donation will keep a child warm and well this winter-and 100% of your donation will be used to purchase boots for needy children in the communities we serve.* Contributions of new, warm winter boots and cash donations are put to work through trusted community organizations, ensuring that help goes to those who need it most.
You can help.
HAP's Boots For Kids depends on the support of citizens and businesses throughout the community - and when you step up to support us, it makes a big difference. Collection season for the program will run from November 22, 2016 through March 31, 2017. Here are a few things you can do:
- Donate boots at any of the available donation stations
- Donate online
- Volunteer to help sort boots
