HAP Medicare Advantage dental coverage with Delta Dental

As a HAP Medicare Advantage member, you get access to preventive care at no cost to you. This includes one oral exam, cleaning and set of bitewing X-rays per calendar year. Comprehensive dental services through a PCP or specialist have copays and coinsurance. Check your summary of benefits to see your plan costs.

Supplemental coverage

You may also choose to add supplemental packages through Delta Dental during the annual enrollment period or special enrollment period. If you purchased one of these optional packages, you can get care from a dentist in the Delta Dental Medicare Advantage PPO and Medicare Advantage Premier networks in Michigan, Ohio and Indiana.

Members with HMO plans must receive care from a dentist within the Medicare Advantage PPO or Medicare Advantage Premier networks. Members with PPO plans can receive care from a dentist outside of those networks as long as they have not opted out of Medicare.*
