The National Medicare Satisfaction Survey – Confidential and Important!
How can you help other people with Medicare to become better informed so they can choose a health plan that best fits their needs? One way is to fill out the 'Medicare Satisfaction Survey,' sent to some of you by Medicare (Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, or CMS) and the research firm, The Myers Group.
The survey was mailed to just some HAP Senior Plus (hmo), HAP Senior Plus (hmo-pos), Alliance Medicare PPO and Alliance Medicare Rx (pdp) members. If you received this survey, your participation means a lot since you are among a select few that were randomly chosen to have a chance to share your views about your HAP plan.
This once a year national survey was developed for the federal Medicare program. CMS has decided to use some of the survey results, along with other data and information, to award Star ratings to health plans.
Please know that your participation in the Medicare Satisfaction Survey is voluntary and private. No one at HAP will see your survey answers. The feedback you provide will not be shared with anyone other than those approved people at CMS and The Myers Group.
