We’re 50! Come celebrate with us at the
HAPpy Together Summer Health Tour
In 1960, we first opened our doors under the name Community
Health Association (CHA), a nonprofit community health plan. At
the heart of CHA was the core value of health maintenance through
preventive care – a principle that still guides HAP to this day as we
serve nearly 500,000 members across southeast Michigan.
“Together” with our members, employees, health
care providers and community partners, we will
commemorate 50 years of enhancing the health
and well-being of the lives we touch with fun events coming to
a community near you this summer. Visit
