Meet The Chef
Chef Kristi Zebrowski
Chef Kristi Zebrowski earned a certificate of culinary arts degree with a focus on classical French training from the prestigious Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts in Chicago.
Chef Kristi has worked at some of the finest restaurants in the country and polished her culinary skills while working in Rome.
She is also an experienced personal chef who has prepared menus for clients with vegan and gluten-free diets. Her hands-on experience working with clients with special dietary needs helps her create tasty recipes that focus on nutrition and health.
Chef Kristi's talent for developing delicious, health-conscious meals caught the attention of HAP's worksite wellness group, and she teamed up with HAP to produce a cooking demonstration on how to prepare scrumptious gluten-free meals for families.
Since then, Chef Kristi has worked with HAP to educate members, employer groups and community partners about the ease of cooking food simply with quality ingredients in a way that doesn't sacrifice taste.
Zebrowski is a strong advocate of the farm-to-table movement and believes that small changes can lead to positive health outcomes. Most importantly, she believes the whole family can be part of meal preparation.
Look for Chef Kristi Zebrowski during the Saturday morning broadcast on Fox 2 Detroit the first and third Saturday of every month. She will be joined by student chefs to show Fox 2 Detroit viewers how to cook delicious and nutritious meals for the whole family.
