Heart Failure

Heart failure means that your heart has weakened and is not pumping blood to the rest of your body as it should. This damage to your heart muscle can lead to fluid build up in your lungs, ankles, feet and legs. You may also have shortness of breath and leg swelling. Heart failure can become worse without proper treatment.
