When is my HAP contract effective and when can I start treating HAP members?

Once we process your application, you will receive a welcome letter from HAP with your effective date and participating lines of business. Please plan on about 90 days from the time you submit your application until you can begin seeing HAP members. Generally, the effective date is aligned with your credentialing date.
