What if my medication isn’t on the covered drug list?

First, check with the doctor or pharmacist to see if there’s a generic equivalent or an alternative medication that could work. We may cover an equivalent drug with a lower out-of-pocket cost to save you money!

New HAP members who have Medicare Part D coverage may be eligible for a transitional supply of their medications. This will allow you to stay on your medications while the doctor finds an alternative medication that we cover.
