How do I purchase a HAP Personal Alliance plan?

You can purchase a HAP Personal Alliance plan online, by phone or in person:

  • View and shop for plans, get quotes, apply for coverage and make your premium payment at the time of enrollment.
  • Call at (855) WITH HAP or (855) 948-4427 to speak to a Personal Alliance expert who can help you choose and enroll in a plan that best meets your needs.
  • Visit our walk-in centers in Detroit, Flint or Southfield, where one of our Personal Alliance experts can meet with you face to face to answer your questions, get plan quotes or complete an application. You can select your favored payment method (credit or debit, EFT, paper bill) and make a premium payment at the time of enrollment. Please note: staffing at the walk-in centers can vary based on consumer demand. You are encouraged to call ahead to make an appointment outside of the open enrollment period.

You can also work with an agent who can sell HAP Personal Alliance plans. The agent can work with you to help you choose a plan that best meets your needs and enroll you online where you can make a premium payment at the time of enrollment. They can also help you enroll via paper application.

If you prefer to apply by paper application, please submit it to the address noted on the cover sheet of the application form.

You also have the option to enrolling through a variety of online quoting and enrollment vendors such as ehealthinsurance.com, GetInsured.com and GoHealth.com to name a few. Each of these vendors have licensed agents available to assist you in plan selection and enrollment.
