Tom has oversight of corporate wellness, community health promotion and community relations and outreach initiatives serving members, employers, and community partners.
Tom was formerly a Senior Director of strategic accounts at WebMD Health Services with responsibility for internal and new business strategy focused on health systems’ health promotion programs. Tom also spent 12 years at Beaumont Health System in corporate wellness, community health education and clinical exercise physiology focused on non-invasive cardiology, rehabilitation and metabolic health management.
Tom earned a Master’s degree in exercise physiology at Oakland University with bachelor’s degrees in health science and psychology and a graduate focus on complementary medicine and wellness.
Karine joined the HAP Worksite Wellness team in 2011 as a Health Promotion Coordinator and supports key corporate accounts through planning, implementation and evaluation of employee wellness programs. Karine’s work includes strategic planning and support of corporate and community partnerships aimed at improving the well-being of entire communities to eliminate health disparities. She also serves as Chair of HAP’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee and oversees the implementation and support organizational diversity program goals throughout the organization.
Karine is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Health Care Administration at Central Michigan University. She is also a Certified Worksite Wellness Program Specialist (CWWPS) and Intrinsic Coach®.
Jed joined the HAP Worksite Wellness team in 2016. Prior to joining HAP, Jed gained experience in the health and wellness field through his work at Beaumont Hospital, Spectrum Health, and Health Plan Advocate. Jed has a Master’s Degree in Exercise Science from Oakland University and is a Certified Exercise Specialist through the American College of Sports Medicine.
In his spare time Jed is an avid runner and enjoys competing in races ranging from 5k to the marathon.
