Wellness is a vital part of any business, and the health of your workforce can impact culture, performance and job satisfaction among other things. As part of your HAP plan, we give you 24/7 year-round access to curated wellness resources and tools you can use to improve the health and well-being of your workforce. Our team of wellness experts are also on hand to assist you with anything you may need on your wellness journey.
Challenge your employees to think about lifestyle choices and embrace healthy habits that will last a lifetime. We teach key factors for a healthy lifestyle as they participate in fun and simple 30-day health and wellness challenges each quarter.
For each challenge, HAP will hold a drawing for up to 20 gift cards worth $50 each. HAP and non-HAP members can participate. Only eligible HAP members, spouses and domestic partners age 18 or older can earn an entry for the drawing. HAP, Henry Ford Health System and OptimEyes employees and family members aren't eligible.
Employees need to complete their iStrive health assessments. Then achieve an average of 25 active minutes per day and stay fit this winter.
Challenge begins Feb. 1, 2018. Registration opens Jan. 1, 2018. Prizes are awarded the month after each challenge.
We're encouraging your employees to do something kind like buy coffee for the person behind them in line. When they feel good, they'll likely do something nice for someone else.

Have employees step up their game by using their fitness trackers, pedometers or smartphones to record an average of 7,500 daily steps.
Challenge begins Aug. 1, 2018. Registration opens July 1, 2018. Prizes are awarded the month after each challenge.
Encourage your employees to be healthy as they head into the holidays by eating five or more servings of fruits and vegetables per day.
Challenge begins Nov. 1, 2018. Registration opens Oct. 1, 2018. Prizes are awarded the month after each challenge.
Employees can step up their game by using their fitness trackers, smartphones or pedometers to record an average of 10,000 daily steps. They'll need 20 people to form a team. At least 10 of them must meet the requirement to be entered into the prize drawing. Challenge begins Aug. 1 2018.
HAP will enter each qualifying team into the drawing. The winning team will earn two special events for the entire company:

Registration opens July 1, 2018. The winning team will be notified the month after the challenge. Events will be scheduled in cooperation with the winning team's company.

Protect your employees with an on-site flu shot clinic, or encourage your workforce to get their flu shot from an approved provider. Most HAP members are eligible to receive flu shots at no charge.
