HAP Announces Hazem Barghouty as Associate Vice President IT Support and Operations
DETROIT – January 12, 2010 – Health Alliance Plan (HAP) has appointed Hazem Barghouty as associate vice president, IT Support and Operations.
Barghouty will develop and execute strategic plans for the operation of HAP's corporate computing infrastructure to support business direction and objectives.
Before joining HAP, Barghouty served as senior IT manager, Driveline/Americas Operation, at American Axle & Manufacturing, Inc. in Detroit. He brings more than 20 years of experience and a proven track record in leading IT infrastructure teams, as well as experience from Nortel Networks and Wang Global in Cleveland, Ohio, and Perot Systems Corporation in Livonia, Michigan.
Barghouty, a Rochester Hills resident, received a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the University of Akron and is pursuing a M.B.A. at Walsh College. He is a member of the CIO Leadership Network.
