Mary Ann Tournoux
Mary Ann Tournoux is Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer of Health Alliance Plan (HAP) and Interim President and CEO of HAP Midwest Health Plan.
Tournoux leads HAP's strategic planning, commercial and individual sales, digital strategy, product development, marketing communications, community outreach, worksite wellness and market intelligence teams. Product oversight for Medicare, Medicaid and Third Party Administration also fall under her areas of responsibility.
Tournoux has spent more than 25 years in business development management and health plan leadership. Prior to joining HAP, she served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Health Alliance Medical Plan in Urbana, Illinois, and as the Vice President, Sales and Marketing for HomeTown Health Network in Northeastern Ohio.
A recognized industry leader, Tournoux serves on the board of Health Plan Alliance, a national association of regional health plans, and chairs its membership committee. She is also a member of the Michigan Association of Healthcare Executives, Society for Healthcare Strategy & Market Development, American Marketing Association and INFORUM, a professional alliance focused on advancing the careers of women.
Driven by her passion for equality and justice, she serves on the board of directors for the Detroit Urban League and HAVEN, a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting violence-free homes and communities, where she also chairs the marketing committee.
Tournoux graduated from The Ohio State University and is an alumnus of the Leadership Detroit program.
