Michelle B. Schreiber, M.D., Henry Ford Health System
Michelle Block Schreiber, M.D. is the Henry Ford Health System Senior Vice President for Clinical Transformation and Clinical IT Integration. She is responsible for developing clinical transformation programs and helping lead Project Helios, the large scale electronic health record implementation across the System. Dr. Schreiber has also worked at Trinity Health System as Senior Vice President and Chief Medical Officer, Acting interim CMIO, and the Detroit Medical Center as Senior Vice President, Chief Quality and Safety Officer.
Dr. Schreiber previously practiced within the Henry Ford Health System for years serving in a wide variety of clinical and leadership roles. She has a wide-ranging list of board memberships and committees, and her educational experiences are also quite extensive. She has also written several abstracts and presentations.
She received her medical degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. She received her certification in 1984 from the American Board of Internal Medicine. She is licensed in the State of New York and the State of Michigan.
Dr. Schreiber was appointed to the HAP Board in 2013.
