Marguerite S. Rigby
Marguerite Rigby is recently retired from Wayne State University, where she served as an Assistant Vice President for Alumni Relations and Executive Director of the WSU Alumni Association for almost 20 years. She has extensive experience in strategic planning and the development and implementation of innovative programs and services for members of a highly diverse educational community. She has guided and led the work of volunteer boards for many years. She is an active member of several nonprofit boards as well as the Women's Health Advisory Committee for Henry Ford Health System.
Rigby values the quality, accessible health care she has received as a member of HAP for nearly three decades. She views the HAP-Henry Ford partnership as a major contributor to the overall quality of life in our communities and a strong force for the continued revitalization of the region. She is committed to enhancing HAP's leadership in health care and wellness programs and preserving its legacy as one of the nation's most respected health plans.
She holds a bachelor's degree from Case Western Reserve University and a master's degree in Education from Kent State University.
Rigby was member-elected to the HAP Board in 2012.
