Sandra A. Cavette, Southeastern Michigan HIV/AIDS Council
Sandra Cavette, MPH, RDH retired as Director of Community Planning for the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Community Planning Council at the Southeastern Michigan Health Association (SEMHA). Her career in health care has spanned more than 40 years as a direct health care provider, health planner and health administrator. Her work has been in diverse areas of corporate, community and public health.
Cavette has been a HAP member for more than six years. In addition to her vast experience in health care, she brings a personal and professional perspective to the HAP Board that reflects the increasing number of "baby boomers" in today's health care system. She has an interest in promoting continuous quality improvement to the company's service delivery system. It is her intention to contribute to the already well-managed organization with a stellar reputation for providing affordable, quality health care to its clients.
She holds a bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene and a master's degree in Public Health from the University of Michigan.
Cavette was member-elected to the HAP Board in 2012.
