Elijah Baker

Elijah is currently working as an Intern with HAP in the Marketing & Community Outreach department. He is also a student at Wayne State University and a member of the Irvin D. Reid Honors College. Eli is studying broadcast journalism as a leap of faith to stay true to his first loves: art and writing.

You may not see him draw much nowadays or spend hours reading John Grisham books, but he is energetic and enjoys long-distance running in his neighborhood, despite living with Type 1 diabetes. Eli loves his home church -- Citadel of Praise -- because he says attending services build his spiritual health in order to maintain a balanced life.
