Cavette retired as director of community planning for the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Community Planning Council at the Southeastern Michigan Health Association. Her health care career spans more than 40 years as a direct health care provider, planner and administrator. She has worked in diverse areas of corporate, community and public health.
She has been a HAP member for more than seven years. She brings a personal and professional perspective to the HAP board that reflects the increasing number of baby boomers in today’s health care system. She’s interested in promoting continuous quality improvement in the company’s service delivery system and contributing to HAP’s stellar reputation for providing affordable, quality health care to its customers.
Cavette holds a bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene and a master’s degree in public health from the University of Michigan.
She was appointed to the HAP board in 2012.
