Marguerite S. Rigby

Rigby is retired from Wayne State University, where she served as an assistant vice president for Alumni Relations and executive director of the WSU Alumni Association for nearly 20 years. She has extensive experience in developing innovative programs and services for members of a highly diverse academic community, and she guided and led the work of volunteer boards throughout her career.
She places the highest priority on her service to the HAP board of directors and as a member of the Member Services and Quality Committees. She values the quality, accessible health care she has received as a HAP member for three decades. She views the HAP and Henry Ford Health System partnership as a major contributor to the overall quality of life in our communities as well as a strong force for the continued revitalization of the region. Rigby is committed to enhancing HAP’s leadership in health care and wellness programs and preserving its legacy as one of the nation’s most respected health plans.
She holds a bachelor’s degree from Case Western Reserve University and a master’s degree in education from Kent State University.
She was appointed to the HAP board in 2012.
