Clark is the vice president of Business Integrity and chief compliance officer for Henry Ford Health System. He's also the interim chief compliance officer for HAP. His scope of responsibilities include regulatory compliance, external and internal audit services, tax services and enterprise risk management. Clark oversees the HFHS Compliance Council, which integrates the compliance operations of all business units and leads all systemwide compliance initiatives.
He joined the System in 1991 as a manager in financial audit, following 10 years of experience with Deloitte, where he specialized in health care, publishing and real estate development. His practice included financial audits, tax services and management consulting services.
Clark holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Michigan. He is a certified public accountant and certified in health care compliance.
His professional memberships include: Healthcare Financial Management Association, American Hospital Association Compliance Officer's Forum, Health Care Compliance Association, Association of Healthcare Internal Auditors, Institute of Internal Auditors, Association of American Medical College Forum on Conflict of Interest Management, The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants.
