Scheduled Downtime

We're doing maintenance and upgrades to improve the site. web site is still available.

Here are some things you won't be able to do online during our maintenance period:

  • Create an account or log in to your existing account
  • Verify eligibility through the Member Eligibility Application (MEA)
  • Status claims or view EOB's
  • Enter authorization requests through CareAffiliate

Admission Requests:

Please call the HAP Admission Team at (313) 664-8833 and choose option 3 to obtain observation or admission authorization or to transfer a member.

Referral Management:

In the event that an urgent referral is required, please contact the Referral Management Team:

Please follow HAP's guideline that if urgent care is required and you are unable to obtain HAP prior authorization for an active member in need of a covered service, direct the member to a HAP-contracted provider and obtain the authorization when CareAffiliate is available or during HAP's normal business hours.
