To create and sustain a successful wellness program, you need the right tools. We have created and gathered resources to help you get started and build upon your current wellness programs. Take advantage of the tools below:

Worksite Wellness Consultation: Contact us to schedule a Wellness Consultation to help you create a successful plan.
Establishing a Wellness Committee: A Wellness Committee (Requires Adobe Reader) is a critical part in establishing lasting worksite wellness programs.
Interest Survey: Tailor your wellness programming to meet the needs and interests of your company. An interest survey (Requires Adobe Reader) is an excellent asset to include in your planning process.
Tips for Planning a Health Fair: This health fair planning guide includes a planning checklist, ideas for themes, resources, incentive and raffle suggestions, and assistance in creating your floor plan. Also available are a sample vendor letter and a "prize passport."
National Health Observances: National Health observances are nationally recognized days, weeks, or months devoted to promoting particular health concerns. Use these times to sponsor health promotion events, stimulate awareness of health risks, or focus on disease prevention.
Healthy Foods at Work: Learn how to establish worksite food policies and add healthy food options in vending machines, at meetings and in your cafeteria.

Henry Ford Health System Worksite Health Promotion

Henry Ford Health System (HFHS) Worksite Health Promotion can provide: flu shots, health screenings, health and wellness presentations, weight management, employee assistance programs, fitness programs, and smoking cessation programs. HAP employer groups working with HFHS Worksite Health Promotion should identify themselves as such. HAP may be able to assist in the coordination and payment for some services.

Michigan Department of Community Health: Michigan Steps Up

Michigan Steps Up provides valuable resources for your company. Their "healthy business" tools include a free HRA, an assessment tool for designing a health work environment, and their Worksite Wellness Chronicles that highlight work that is being done in businesses across Michigan related to employee health promotion.

WELCOA (Wellness Councils of America)

WELCOA serves as a national clearinghouse and information center on worksite wellness. Sign up for their monthly e-Newsletter and access their many free interviews with health professionals, wellness reports, and case studies.
