Did you know colorectal cancer is the second-leading cause of cancer-related death, and claim over 56,000 lives each year?
Colorectal Cancer is one of the most preventable cancers, because it develops from polyps that can be removed before they become cancerous with a colon cancer screening.
In fact, the Center for Disease Control (CDC) believes that over a third of the colorectal cancer deaths could potentially be prevented if everyone over 50 received regular screenings.
Please contact your physician to discuss and determine which of the following colorectal screening is best for you.
- Fecal occult blood test (FOBT) – annually
- Flexible sigmoidoscopy - every 5 years
- Colonoscopy – every 10 years
