Prevention and early detection of disease are the keys to keeping you healthy.

To make sure you receive all of the care you need, HAP members will be entered automatically into a drawing for a $100 gift card once you’ve had your mammogram and HAP receives a bill from your center! Every day during the month of December (excluding Holidays and weekends), HAP will be drawing 5 winners to receive a $100 gift card from the pool of women who have had their mammogram in 2009!

Early detection tests for breast cancer save thousands of lives each year. Many more lives could be saved if more of these tests were taken advantage of by members. According to the American Cancer Society, women age 40 and older should have a screening mammogram (x-ray) and breast exam every 1 to 2 years by a health professional. Following these guidelines could improve the chances that breast cancer may be diagnosed at an early stage and treated successfully.
