Both Alliance Medicare PPO and HAP Senior Plus offer MA-Only plans. These are plans that provide coverage for services covered under Medicare Parts A and B, but do not offer Medicare Prescription Drug Coverage (also called Part D benefits). Some MA plans also provide additional benefits not covered under Medicare.
If you enroll in an MA-only plan, you will not be eligible for prescription drug coverage under Medicare. An MA-only plan may be a good choice if you have prescription drug coverage through your employer or your spouse’s employer (or former employer).
HAP Senior Plus offers two MA-only plans.
Alliance Medicare PPO offers one MA-only plan.
If you are ever dissatisfied with a Coverage Determination or any aspect of our plans, we encourage you to first call Client Services. You also have the right to file a Grievance or an Appeal. To learn more about Coverage Determinations, Grievances and Appeals, click here.
