HAP’S TRANSITIONAL COVERAGE OPTIONS

COBRA
COBRA gives workers and their families who lose their health benefits the right to continue group health coverage for limited periods of time under certain circumstances.

SOLO Plans for Individuals & Families
SOLO plans are available to individuals and families who do not have access to employer-sponsored health coverage. SOLO is also an alternative for people who are between jobs or recently laid-off, those who have exhausted their COBRA benefits, or early retirees who are not yet eligible for Medicare.

Group Conversion and I-Plan (Non-group Open Enrollment)
These plans offer access to HAP’s extensive HMO provider network. Members pay the monthly premium, copays and/or other cost-sharing responsibilities that may be part of their benefit package, such as deductibles or co-insurance.

Coverage Options for Medicare Beneficiaries
For more than 20 years, Medicare Beneficiaries have chosen HAP’s Medicare Solutions for additional coverage beyond Original Medicare. HAP offers a variety of plans, including statewide plans, to eligible Medicare beneficiaries:
