In the Alliance Health & Life EPA option, which is similar to the HMO in plan design, members choose a PCP from our network of providers to coordinate all routine medical care, including ordering tests and lab work. PCPs manage and arrange for care by specialists and admissions to hospitals.
ADVANTAGES OF OUR EXCLUSIVE PROVIDER ARRANGEMENT:
- Financing. This product can be offered on either an experience-rated or self-funded basis. Consult your HAP representative or your agent for advice about which rating method is best for your particular needs.
- Maximum cost utilization control. For increased savings to your group, employees use their personally chosen PCP to oversee all of their care.
- Coordinated care. Employees and their dependents have most, if not all, of their health care services managed by their designated PCP.
- Emergency coverage worldwide. Emergency care is available worldwide with the member identification card.
- Flexible cost sharing. Choose from several benefit designs to meet the desired level of cost sharing.
- Affinity discounts. Members receive preferred rates on services that are not covered benefits, including Weight Watchers®, LASIK (Laser in-situ Keratomileusis) procedures and Globalfit Fitness Solutions.
