About HAP
HAP Senior Leadership: Donald Hirt

As Senior Vice President, Planning and Marketing Strategy, Donald Hirt leads teams responsible for client services, advertising and public relations, customer research and strategy, member loyalty programs, worksite wellness programs, and service quality improvement.

Throughout his 25-year tenure, Hirt has served in many leadership positions for HAP and Henry Ford Health System (HFHS) including vice president, Organizational Performance and Operational Support for HAP; and corporate director, Planning and Marketing for HFHS.

Hirt is an examiner for the Michigan Quality Council, and a member and past president of the Michigan Society for Health Care Planning and Marketing of the American Hospital Association.

He earned a B.A. in Political Science from Western Michigan University, a Masters Degree in Public Administration from Wayne State University, and is a graduate of Leadership Oakland.
