About HAP
HAP Senior Leadership: Mary Beth Bolton, M.D.

Dr. Mary Beth Bolton is Senior Vice President and Chief Health Officer. She joined HAP in March 2000. Dr. Bolton has dedicated her career to health care management, previously serving as Vice President of Medical & Care Management (Clinical Programs), and Medical Director-Medical & Care Management at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan. In addition, Dr. Bolton was Senior Associate Medical Director of Managed Care Services at HAP and Senior Staff Physician & Program Director - Primary Care Internal Medicine Residency Program at Henry Ford Health System. Dr. Bolton currently manages HAP's Health and Medical Affairs Department, System Care Management, and Quality Initiative. She earned her Associates degree in nursing at Henry Ford College and her Medical degree at the University of California San Francisco. She is board certified in internal medicine and a Fellow of the American College of Physicians.
