Winter Boot Collection to Benefit Local Families through Carriage Town Ministries
DETROIT – December 8, 2008 – While many local families wonder how they will keep their children warm this winter, Health Alliance Plan's Flint office employees are busy collecting winter boots and encouraging area residents and businesses to help. HAP's "Boots for Kids" program will benefit families served by Carriage Town Ministries and will run through Friday, Dec. 19.
"Our neighbors can make a difference in a child's life this winter by picking up an extra pair of boots while they're out shopping for loved ones this month," said Anita Moliterno, general manager for HAP's Flint office.
New children's winter boots can be dropped off at the following locations through Friday, Dec. 19. Receipts are available upon request.
FLINT: Health Alliance Plan 1397 S. Linden Road, Suite C 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday
