Senior Splash Bash and Moms in Motion
Health Alliance Plan is keeping mothers and seniors healthy and fit this summer by sponsoring water aerobics programs in Detroit, Flint, Marine City, Southfield, Troy, Warren and Westland.
HAP's Senior Splash Bash and Moms in Motion classes are FREE and open to the public. Although the classes are geared toward mothers and seniors, any adult can join*.
This low-impact, calorie burning workout can be ideal for anyone – even people with arthritis or other chronic conditions – because the buoyancy of the water reduces stress on joints, bones and muscles. Some of the participating pools have zero-depth entry, which makes it easier to enter and exit the pool.
If you're looking for a fun way to stay in shape, or if you have trouble exercising on land, why not give the pool a try this summer, courtesy of HAP!
