Coordinated Behavioral Health Management (CBHM) Department Overview
Coordinated Behavioral Health Management (CBHM) is the division of HAP that is responsible for managing behavioral medicine services for members.
Behavioral medicine refers to both mental health and chemical dependence (addiction) problems. Our focus is to match a HAP member with the best behavioral medicine care that is appropriate for that member, and to monitor that care throughout treatment.
About The Staff
The clinical staff at CBHM is comprised of social workers, psychologists, registered nurses and psychiatrists. All clinical staff are licensed and required to have at least 5 years of experience in treating patients with mental health and/or substance abuse problems. The social workers and psychologists must have a minimum of a Master's Degree in a behavioral medicine related field. Our psychiatrists are board certified and are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for consultation.
