Asthma
Asthma is a chronic disease that affects the tubes that carry air in and out of your lungs or the airways. When there is inflammation of the airways, this narrows the air passages interfering with the air passing in and out of the lungs. This results in asthma symptoms, including coughing, wheezing, shortness of breath and chest tightness.
