Free Community Health Fair in Dearborn Saturday, September 8

DETROIT and DEARBORN, Mich. – August 27, 2012 – Health Alliance Plan (HAP) and Midwest Health Plan (MHP) will host a free health fair on Saturday, September 8 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Double Tree by Hilton Hotel Detroit-Dearborn (Superior Room), located at 5801 Southfield Expressway, Detroit 48228.

The health fair will feature eye exams by Henry Ford OptimEyes, Body Mass Index (BMI) screening by ACCESS, health information, face painting and magic shows for kids, giveaways and lunch. Pediatrician Alex El-Sabbagh, M.D. and Jehad Najda, child and adolescent health specialist at ACCESS will discuss well child care, nutrition and childhood obesity.
